Ok so if Garrett Golden can write a super intelligent livejournal entry about his ponders at 4 in the morning, then I can write one too, four hours earlier and feel smart. Ok. for instance, i loved patrick, i really did; but after the break up, i found that i hadn't been IN Love with him. and there is a critical (and hard to define) difference. if i think about what your dad was talking about, my guess is that he was talking about not being able to understand "In Love." but i think that it IS possible for teenagers to fall In Love.
