Zuko didn't notice that he had his mouth half open as the story was being told; nor that his marshmallos had burned too much a long time ago.
He was absorbed on it, his eyes looking with awe at the multicolored flames; he had never seen anything like that before!! A lot of different wonderful colors he didn't even know they existed.
It was so awesome.
When the story was over, he quickly discarded the stick with the burned marshmallow, clapping happily out of enthusiasm. "That was awesome, Uncle!" He cheered.
Toushiro stared at the man intently as he told the tale. There was something about elders that he liked, some aura they gave off that comforted him. And right now he was soaking up every bit of it. Toushiro firmly believed he was still back in the Rukongai, regardless of what everyone said, and he was merely lost. He would be able to find his way back home soon, but he didn't fancy wandering in darkness.
So he decided to attend this festival for the moment. The story brought back reminders of a dream, and he perked up slightly. "ALL dragons firebend?" he asked loudly. "'Cause I had a dream 'bout a snowy dragon. BIG one."
