It's weird how a couple decades make the cityscapes look kind of alien.

The second transparency is flipped. Took me a while to figure out why people were driving on the left in the US.

While I was working for an art auction house we had another company doing the scanning of transparencies taken from paintings. They told an intern to check signatures to make sure that the transparencies weren't flipped. Instead of just flipping the whole image, he just flipped the signatures in Photoshop. The whole catalog run for that auction had several pieces that were reversed in the catalog but had normal signatures and vice versa. Took a while to figure out what the hell happened.

We got really picky about checking things to see if they were reversed after that.
