Your first-year project is so much cooler than ours was. I'd actually have something to contribute to this one.

Your writing is damn good, by the way. Autobiographical prose is not easy to pull off, in my opinion.

Ths is probably my favorite part of the whole shebang thus far. You are an amazing writer, Drew. Anything autobiographical is so hard to pull off-at least for me. Especially anything dealing with deeply rooted emotion. This made me want to hug you, whereas last time I tried to write something of this sort one of my best friends told me, in the nicest possible way, to get myself some black glasses and go record an emo album. I like that you maintained your particular writing style, and you brought up something very interesting in that last paragraph. Bravo, dear.

Thabks Megan

However this is not going to halt my plans to buy a pair of black glasses and record an emo record tentatively titled "Silent Thoughts of a adolescent heatbreak 8"

all criticism aside, drew, I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every single installment of your opus, and your writing is, needless to say, pretty captivating. however, although I recognize that these are all first drafts, the transition between this section and the previous one seems kind of cumbersome. I really like the way you ended the second part, but, since they were written at different times, it ends; and then it begins again, even though the piece seems to have been given finality already. I really enjoy a lot of the imagery in this passage. it's very telling.

Fret not Berger!!!

These three sections are going to be tied up and edited HEAVILY for my completed essay, which I will also post on my LJ

Oh, and your use of the word cumbersome got the song "cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three stuck in my head..."Too heavy, too light, too black or too white, too wrong or too right, say it tonight...CUMBERSOME"...the play it all the live long day on WEBN.
