It's not fair. This world is fucked up. FUCKED UP. And I hate it. I really do. For all my faith in God, I don't understand why he's doing this.. and I know I believe in everything happening for a reason, but I CANNOT for the life of me see the point in this

Death is a part of life. Yes it is sad that he is going to die but if you think of it, when people die, it is only their bodies that die. They aren't dead in our memories and their legacies are what live on.
