Why does Hello feel like Good-Bye?

i feel like i am just letting her go, like i am not fighting for it, like i am not struggling, is this the end? do i just watch it die? WHAT DO I DO! she doesn't think we'll work out, i just want to try to make it last, i don't want to just let it go.
