So after two plane rides, three movies, two airline breakfasts, and one dinner I have made it safe and sound, if not a little jet lagged, to Australia. Thanks to a long tiring weekend in Monterey I am now SCUBA certified up to 100ft. The water was cold, at times I couldn't see farther than my outstretched hand, and I did manage to destroy my tel phone when I accidentally took it on a couple dives with me, but other than that it was a great time. The company my mom works for is a corporate donor to the SF MOMA. As a result the employees get to go to the opening of new exhibits. Well last night was just such an occasion and my mother and I went. So I have been medically cleared to go to Australia. Though it was to be expected it's still good to hear. Along the same lines the education abroad office sent out an e-mail telling us that the first payment for the program will be due soon. This is is all somewhat hilarious considering that I haven't been formally accepted to the program yet.

I'm getting kinda tired of all this rain.

So we just got back to SC from NYC and all I can say was that the trip was intense. There are stories to tell and pictures to share but I think I'll leave that for another day when I'm got going off of three hours sleep.

So it's finally here. I should be happy. I mean I'm done with finals (which I think I did pretty well on) and only a few days away from going to New York. But there in lies the problem.
