There is nothing wrong with wanting and needing (and, OMG, admitting that you want and need) love and affection. Yes, it opens you up for hurt sometimes. But, it also opens you up for shared joy. This will get easier, Brent. It really will.
Yep, I had to. Cera wanted to "catch up" and have a pleasant conversation, then ambushed me with cancelling my phone. So I'm on Verizon now, but at the same number. There'll be a bit of twitchiness as the transition proceeds.

Therefore, I say to you, listen to your better judgement: overcome your dependencies. See if you can't throw in a few other smaller dependencies while you're processing the upgrade.
been there, done that, I wouldn't go back to that cold emotionless state for anything. To me, the pain is worth the pleasure. Its a simple mathematic problem. is the cost of the pain you WILL recieve, because thats what it means to need love, there will ALWAYS be some pain involved somewhere, but is that cost worth more than the payment of the pleasure?
I dunno, its like my problem with the bhuddist ideal. Eliminate all desire, and you eliminate suffering. yeah, but that suffering is worth it, when i think of the pleasure i get from fulfilling my desires.
