It's begun.
My aggressive job hunt in the field of non-profits has begun. And I'm already feeling discouraged. Perhaps it's staring at the computer screen for 6 hours that's gotten to me, however.
I've applied at CIEE, World Vision, International Rescue Committee, AmeriCorps (x4) and already been turned down by ACDI/VOCA (that's OK because I was hazy on what ( Read more... ) -

Ghetto Cooler
Today, the UPS guy brought something delightful to work... a styrofoam cooler that I got to bring home and will be using for a tailgate party sometime! Tomorrow is my first day solo as manager at Amics! I'm excited and nervous. I just hope nothing crazy happens. According to my boss, it is going to be extremely slow/dead because it's the day of McPherson's annual chili cook-off.
