The Cabazon dinosaurs were, by far, my favorite road side attraction in Southern California. Every time I'd drive out to Joshua Tree, I'd be sure to stop and "Grab a Bite," and my T. Rex t-shirt from the Wheel Inn is one of my favorites. Sadly, the beauty of the 1960's era Rt. 66 roadside dinosaurs has been tarnished by idiot creationists ( Read more... )

yay! today marly and i listened to the barren foothill breakdown sing about the san gabriel mountains as we drove up the crest. it was all yucky down in the foothills this mornin' but as we drove up and up the haze cleared away and the mountains were so dang pretty ( Read more... )

i'm back from camping! again! this time my folks and my aunt tina and i went up to king's canyon for a few days. i'd never been there before and it was wonderful. there was even enough "pah" to hang up the hammock ( Read more... )
