Farewell my friends.

I forced my parents to allow me to go to the nearest Muggle library right away, beucase I felt bad leaving without a proper good-bye. I wish you all well for the summer and I hope that everyone is all right and will be. I plan on seeing you all at the return of the next term and I hope that you can somehow make your summer enjoyable.

It's from Lord of the Rings, it's a Muggle book I've read every summer since I was ten.

Mother wishes for me to ask if you have forgotten her offer, as you have not yet owled her back. Because it has been over 24 hours, and of course even minor things such as school crises involving injury and loss of life cannot outweigh the importance of responding to my mother in a timely manner.
