It seems the fashion and design workshop will be handled by Vera Wand, not Circe Flamel. Egh, they're such a subpar company.

As always, I will survive.

We Slytherins are a hardy lot. We survive all sorts of things. Hexes, Muggle living, Weasleys, being forced to attend inferior workshops.

Still, UGH.

How comforting it is to find that an utter pillock who's completely incapable of proper capitalisation, punctuation and spelling and puts sports before schooling is favoured by the idiots to whom intelligence doesn't matter to be Head Boy of this school.

It's so pleasant to be able to find entertainment over the hols, isn't it? Especially just before the new term begins. My summer was passing so dully, but in this month alone, there have been all kinds of fortuitous events to lift my spirits. It bodes well for next week, and for the new term, as well.

When did it become August already? Hardly acceptable.

As an idle topic of conversation, how have you all fared in your Apparation exams?

I quite forgot to mention that for all of my yearmates who are going to France, my mother has considerable resources if you are in need of maps, language tutoring, etc. In addition, she still has some quite prominent connections in the country, if you would wish to draw upon them. You have only to ask.
