Instead work decided to send me to England for six months come April, but today I found out that trip isn't going to happen either. So now I'm staying put. You could always give the fryer "in trust" until he turns 13 with explicit instructions that he be taught all the deep frying arts under adult supervision.

Stability is a very good thing. Although my trip was cancelled, the reasons that it was cancelled will make life in Ottawa far better.
