Wait, folk and poke sound different? I say all three the same! I'm from Philly, though, so don't rely on us to pronounce anything correctly. We're the ones who say that the stuff that comes out of your kitchen faucet is wooder.

Same! I was just about to comment the same thing.

Of course I'm Danish and learned English in New Zealand after which I've been influenced by all sorts of US sitcoms... so who's to say what my accent is like by now.

Yolk is like poke. Definitely. I can't tell you how many times I've said, "I don't like the (yoke) yolk."
