(you should post or send me your fully compiled list.)

-gloomy sunday (as covered by billie holiday, or sarah brightman)
-in my opinion, almost anything by the wipers, in its own way. like "is this real?"
-rasputina's cover of wish you were here.
-anything on bee + flower's "what's mine is yours" album.
-the assistant - my last potential self-destruction
-laura nyro - poverty train
-jean grae - keep livin
-neil young - tell me why
-indigo girls - virginia woolf (maybe)
-pageninetynine - your face is a rape scene
-tori amos (can't really decide which one, but something by her!)
-fiona apple - never is a promise (definitely the saddest song ever)
-allison krauss - new favorite

i'm getting depressed now, but there are some.

Gloomy Sunday, also known as the "Hungarian Suicide Song" is generally perceived as being one of the saddest songs ever (for reasons that should be obvious). Billie Holiday has a version but I'd look for some older recordings.

I apologize if somebody else already said this; my internet is quite slow so I didn't wait for previous comments to load.
