This was beautiful. I was so angry at the way Ten ended - not that he regenerated, but how all the railing against fate and the gnashing of teeth and "I don't want to go" as his last words, which was just so . . . un-Doctorish. But you fixed it! And you fixed it with Jack, whom I adore. Thank you!

Thanks so much! I was definitely extremely disappointed with the way EOT ended, too. Un-Doctorish is exactly the right phrase.

I almost didn't read this, because Ten/Jack isn't really my ship, but your "Ten/Universe, noncon" note got my attention!

I really, really like this! I think that this was a wonderful fix-it without being over-indulgent, and I could really picture this happening.

Wow, what an amazing review. I waited a long time to post this because I was afraid it might be a little too self-indulgent, so I'm glad you felt it wasn't.

I'm much more of a Ten/Master person, but for some reason my Master never comes out the way I want him to. I can never quite get the right balance of crazy, danger, and unrequited lurve.

Jack is here beside him holding his hand. The Doctor can’t remember the last time someone held his hand while he regenerated and the overwhelming gratitude after so much pain and loss brings tears to his eyes.
