Last night Andrew and I went out for dinner at Chevy's (yum Mexican) and as we were leaving we overheard a couple teenage guys making fun of me and him so of course what does Andrew do? He looks right at them then leans over and we share a nice long sloppy kiss for several seconds. I love my Andrew :) The kids looked disturbed by it.

Sounds like fun! I've always found playing with people to be great entertainment. My John is not crazy about public displays of affection, unless it's to prove how stupid someone is. Since he is able-bodied, people almost never get that we are a couple. He handles it very well. That's a nice change for most of the guys I've dated. Usually, they either really let it bother them or pull about macho overprotective" defending her honor " bullshit. He has a real sense of humor.

How did you meet Andrew anyway? John and I met over a telephone personals service. We talked for nine hours the first night and nearly every day thereafter. We live really far apart, but hopefully that will be changing soon :-) Phone sex gets so old!

No, I know mine if you ask. I have CP and arthritis and kidney disease. I was born with CP, the rest is acquired for my many misadventures as a stubborn independent pain in the ass. I haven't walked since I was eight, even then it was with braces that weighed more than I did. My parents are still waiting to adjust my decision. How disability affects me is to complex and interesting question to answer here. Mostly, it just makes me think too much.
