New Job
Well, I'm a little better than halfway through my first day.The orientation videos have proven to be a chore to stay awake through because I've seen them before. What a year it has been since I updated! I got a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas that still makes me smile. It was a real surprise too. T?here have been lots of days spent baking homemade goodies since then. New Year's Eve brought a story that will live forever in our family. Things are finally looking up! It has been a really good week. Strange to say that because it's John's first week unemployed. He really needed to leave the delivery job and there will be a new job in January, but it's very stressful for me to think about finances with neither of us working. At Least the Coffee Here Is Amazing
it's true... I am a caffeine-based life form. Unfortunately, I'm also a snob. As much as I enjoy the atmosphere of reading a good book at Starbucks, their coffee sucks! Their beans are burned and only drinkable if you put tons of milk and sugar and flavor in them. Shortly after getting here the one roaster that sold decent beans left town. I ( Read more... )
