haven't got much time to update. i'm in florence right now. i just came here from rome, where i saw all the big attractions. i still can't believe that i was in the vatican on the day that the pope died. well, that's it for now. i'll try to add more details later.

florence = beautiful. i was there on tuesday! you should definitely climb to the top of the duomo-- you get a great view up there of the city. also check out the music exhibit at the academia.

i was in the vatican on thursday-- when you were there were a lot of the renaissance sections closed off? as the day went on more and more portions of the museums were closed which we found odd.

hope you're having fun! go to venice if you get the chance, it's beautiful!

unfortunately i won't have time to see venice. when i was in the vatican museum the sistine chapel and the raphael rooms were open, which were what i really wanted to see. thanks for the florence tips!
