Justin dropped off his petition at the petition-dropping-off place today.  As expected, they told him they'd need to validate the signatures to complete the filing process.  What they didn't tell him was exactly how they'd validate them, but he'd been figuring it mostly involved checking for birth years that are early enough and addresses that are
