The closer a website is to being totally devoted to movies, music, games, or other hallmarks of nerd obsession, the greater waste of time their message boards are, and by and large, the people that frequent those message boards are getting up in arms about pointless bullshit ( Read more... )

I wasn't (actually) referring to GS here. Take a look at at the iMDB message boards, or AICN. Those websites are like a bottomless pit wherein a whole bunch of people think that their opinion matters.

The Dandy Warhols Board kind of is like that. There's only so much we can talk about, at least until the new album comes out.

Broadwayworld.com is a lot better though, because theres more to discuss.
