So, I've decided to stay in grad school. No, I'm not good at being decisive. Yes, it probably would have been easier to not go through all of this crazy for a month and a half. We've started getting wedding presents, which are being sent to Mike's apartment. For the past couple months we would play this dance with UPS and FedEx: then put a notice on the door that a package delivery was attempted. We say, hmmm, we have a package! Let's sign the notice. It's 40 minutes before I have to hop on a bus to work. Whoooo. 1.5 hours in the chemistry study center and then class (a somewhat pointless one) and possibly sticking around until 3 for a group meeting. I have to pick a lab in the next 2 months or so. That's crazy talk ( Read more... )

In all it's dreary, chilly, overcast, rainy goodness. I love it. I can't explain why, because I also love the sun and being able to run around in a skirt and tank top, feeling warmth on my shoulders.
