- Wednesday last week (the 17th), I won a domestic violence case partly by way of using a Crawford objection to keep a hearsay statement from being admitted into evidence. Wow. Are there hipsters living in Alabama? Are they native, or did they migrate from other climes? Also, hipsters brawling? They sound like they could be a different breed from the kind we have here, who are too slackerish in disposition for bar room brawls.

Oh, I think hipsterism is a disease that thrives in many climes. That being said, they do seem to exist in markedly higher concentrations in certain areas. Perhaps the condition somehow emanates outwards from these hotspots. Each coast has one or two, and Austin Texas apparently covers the flyover. I'm convinced that hipsterism ground zero for the East Coast lies somewhere along the B branch of the Green line on Boston's T, probably at some point between BU and BC.

I should clarify by saying that there was, in fact, no brawl taking place. The crazy bastards were simply throwing beer bottles and chairs about for the sake of being destructive. Perhaps they fancied themselves rather dangerous Da-Da-ists? I doubt it, actually.
