- Wednesday last week (the 17th), I won a domestic violence case partly by way of using a Crawford objection to keep a hearsay statement from being admitted into evidence. Paddling Trip 06-28-08
Scully and I have been hitting the water after work a good bit lately, getting in as much kayaking as our schedules will allow, which is usually only a couple of hours one or two days during the workweek. Last night in Daphne Municipal Court...
I successfully defended an innocent man on a theft charge.
We didn't even have to put on any of our own witnesses' testimony; the judge granted my motion for judgment of acquital after I cross-examined the city's only witness.
