Sheep or goat meat?

I know this is a long shot but does anyone on my friend's list near me know of a local or near-ish source for sheep or goat's meat?

Many halal butchers carry goat... and I googled "goat meat detroit" and found a place. Don't know if that qualifies as "near", though!

I would recommend ethnic, Halal or Kosher markets.

There is a farm i or near Plain City ( by C-bus) that actually butchers the goats for the Muslim community so that they are halal. I read about it in the paper but it's been months. I could probably find out the name for you...

My buddy Mark raises sheep, and will be slaughtering lambs in the next few weeks. If I can get details from you, I can get lamb before it's even cooled.

Gross for me, but prolly good for carnivores.

Do you know if he feeds his lambs grain or just lets them feed on grass only? Also, if you had some pricing information (if the lambs are available, that is, since I know some places have waiting lists). I'd love info if you could get it.
