Well, I finally finished my graduate applications. I’m thinking about adding NYU, but I don’t know if I’d like NYC. It seems pretty expensive, and I won’t have much money to live on. Where to begin? Back in May, I suppose. I worked at the Animal Medical Hospital over the summer and had a lot of fun. Whatever happened to regularly updating my journal, I wonder? It's been so long I'm not sure what to include. Anyway, my oceanography class went to the Duke Marine Lab for a weekend. It was AMAZING. I hadn't realized how long it's been since I updated! A lot's happened since then. I only have two more days of classes and then two final exams next week (Monday night and Tuesday morning). This week has been crazy, though. By Friday I have to:

Fall break was a welcome break from school (all 3 days of it). I did absolutely no homework over break, which means I had quite a bit to do tonight (most of it's done). I had to write a writing paper using an example of modern rhetoric. In a mix of desperation and genius, I decided to dredge up A Room of One's Own. The resulting essay turned out very nicely if I may say so (I got a 11/10). Fall break starts 12:00 Friday, so I am definitely looking forward to it! Classes resume next Wednesday.
