I wonder how long I could get away with living in my office before anyone figured it out. I mean, seriously, I work in a dorm. I could totally take a shower here, and sleep on my couch. It's not like I'm seriously going to do this--I have kitties to take care of and all--but the thought just crossed my mind

There are all kinds of nerds... Hot nerds, nerdy nerds, smelly nerds... and nerds who dream about going back to highschool just to learn. One type of nerd isn't necessarily also another.

Your dream is basically what chassy and I did when we took a welding class at WCC. We were floating along with passable scores, but nothing great, and then dropped the class at the last minute. It also didn't hurt that both of us were out of town for the final exam.

I stayed in my office for a short time a couple years ago, but friends like oktiger, beninem, justinbailey, and others were very kind and put me up. It was creepy sleeping in my office, although I suppose since your office is in an inhabited building, it might be less so.

I think you should tap dance in a rock band, and then write a play about the struggles of a tap-dancer trying to break into the cutthroat world of arena rock. Public radio would lap that story up-you'd be a media darling.
