I've been having really intense dreams lately in my new house. The latest--which made me wake up in a cold sweat--takes place at school where there are continuous air raids due to Iraqi bombings in our neighborhoods. Unloading the U-Haul today at the new digs, some neighbors noticed that a cat ran out of the truck and into the woods. Considering that Francis was outside when we were loading the U-Haul at my old digs, it's quite possible that it was him. And now he's lost in my new neighborhood somewhere. And I'm worried sick.

I am a bad mom because Francis is sick and I slept through his vet appointment this morning, and though I thought he was doing fine, he's still hot and maybe feverish. It seems like he gets sick right before I move. Happened when I moved from Texas. Happening now ( Read more... )
