I just set up my flickr account and started uploading photos to it. Most are from a trip I took today, down to the site of Fort Pitt, where a young colonel of the Virginia Militia by the name of George Washington started the French and Indian War (otherwise known as the Seven Years' War everywhere but the United States). Balance returns
I have reached the point where I am now settled into my studies here at the University of Pittsburgh. The class is brutal. I always learn languages slowly and painfully, this was the case with Spanish and German, it is now also the case with Bulgarian. Arrival
So I arrived in Pittsburgh without a hitch. My first impression is that Pittsburgh is a really beautiful city. I am living on the University of Pittsburgh campus, and although it is a dorm, I have it all to myself. Going back to a rommate-type living situation would be...scary. Leaving
I leave for Pittsburgh in about three hours. Actually, I am leaving for Sacramento International Airport in three hours. I will be landing in Pittsburgh at 6:45 am EST. I am numb about this at the moment. There are things on my mind that are taking precedence right now, things I won't go into. But I am leaving. -
Reason #314560 why I am an idiot
I have moved out of Sonoma, and I am staying at my parents house in Sacramento for the week before flying off to Pittsburgh. I have been having some mixed emotions about this coming summer.
