They were taken aback by her sudden appearance. But she was also surprised to see another addition to the connivance.
Nobody dared to say a word until she broke the silence with her rage.
"You came as far as even paying people to keep an eye on me???" She raised an eyebrow at Kei who was docking his head in the corner.
Then she turned to the other, who was leaning his back against the cold stone bricks.
Her hand was ready but she couldn't even bring it up to his face, probably to slap him or whatever.
Something about him makes her think he doesn't want to be part of this and just then he confirmed her thoughts.
"I did not sign up for this." He was talking to the secretary with a calm voice, as if there was no tension building up.
"You guys told me to just allow her class to stay at my resort and make sure they're not in danger, not to baby sit someone who has a mind of her own." She wanted to nod at him and thank him for understanding her but rage just took over.
"This is why I hate life!" Her screams startled even those in the restaurant just across.
She threw her hands in the air in disbelief and ran out towards wherever her feet takes her.
The secretary tried to run after her but Kota stopped her.
"She won't be going too far. You don't need to worry. Where she's headed to is safe."

The same old feeling…of not knowing where to go, what to do.
I was sick of this already.
But there was something different this time.
My feet were moving on their own, was I going someplace this time?
Have I decided? Since when did I even think of deciding? And why now? And how, and what…or who?
All my questions were answered when I ran into him.
The moment I knew it was him that I was holding, a part of me said “It’s okay. It’s over.”
And just like the first time I cried in his arms, he still hugged me, no questions asked.
Here I was, being selfish again, crying like a baby, staining his shirt, taking up all his time, not explaining a thing…
And here he is, being the only one who didn’t require words to understand what in the world was going on with me again.
He didn’t care if I borrowed his dinner time.
He was just gently stroking my hair while I was shamelessly weeping under his neck.
Moments later I could hear my sobs dying. My heartbeats even slowed down. I felt better, yes, he always made me feel better.
Better…until I think I might just sleep here…in his arms.

Kota grabbed his car keys and drove them to the nearest hospital when he saw Hikaru carry her towards the gate.
The secretary and her convoy followed.
“I don’t know. She just collapsed after crying and..and I-“ Hikaru’s stutters even alarmed the guy on the wheel.
“Didn’t she mention anything to you about past sickness or ailments…anything?”
No.
She did not and she didn’t even seemed sickly or what to him.
She may not be a bubbly person but he thought she was perfectly well, physically.
Kota saw the concern in his eyes.
He knew he wasn’t supposed to do this but oh well…
He stepped on the gas pedal and drove away at full speed.
