So im staring at the purple circle patch on the physical therapists coat, wondering who it is more insulting to that Bellvue is now a teaching hospital for NYU. I mean NYU owns every fucking thing in New York realestate wise, they make donald trump look like someone with a sublet to rent.

That last paragraph is almost a word for word description I'd read for Soviet society some years ago. The author described it as "a mass settling of tiny, trivial scores, across every aspect of life." He said people felt powerless except for their own tiny sphere, and if someone's job was to open a door for people, the door-opener would squeeze every tiny thing he could out of anyone that he held power over by virtue of that door.

This paragraph made me think of a Morphine song that starts off "My brain was out of tune...my whole brain was outta tune...I don't know how to tune a brain do you?...." Good tune, you should check it out. Think its called "My brains outta tune".
