But Sora's already awake. Today's one of those days where it feels like something's about to happen, and that leaves Sora in high spirits already. In fact, if he's looked for, he can be found outside, standing on the steps and soaking in the rising sun. The fresh air and cool breeze from the mountains lightly ruffles his hair, and he's otherwise in a good mood. His own armor is fastened to his shoulder, silver and gold like his Keyblade. If Riku heads out, he'll find Sora there, possibly waiting for him, even though they have different Masters.

Indeed Riku stumbles over him as he heads out and regards him with an amused, raised eyebrow and a slight smile on his face at the sight of his friend.

"Up already, are you?"

Sora flashes that cheesy grin, resting his hands behind his head and tilting his upper half just slightly to the side. It's a normal expression for him--something oddly similar to Ventus.

"Yup! Today just feels exciting. Hard to sleep in on a day like this!"

He shakes his head, even though he is used to early mornings, he has no idea how Sora can feel so energized already. Part of his charm, he supposes, considering that his best friend has always been like that.

"Oh? Do you think something will happen?"
