Election Quandary

Today is election day, and here's my problem.

I have absolutely NO idea who to vote for.

Quit yer bitching! You are lucky that you live in a riding that's actually competitive! Hold your nose and vote for the Liberal if you don't want the conservative to win.

I unfortunately get to choose between Conservative guy, and independant conservative guy who thinks conservative guy won his nomination unfairly. Even if the Conservatives split this vote 50/50, the Liberal STILL doesnt have a chance of coming up the middle!

You're lucky you live where your vote will actually count!

http://www.voteforenvironment.ca/ has a bit on strategic voting, and which ridings you can afford to vote not-liberal to keep out the tories.

Thanks for that, sir. I was starting to lean towards the liberal in my area anyway, if only for the simple reason that my Uncle Roger vouches for her from his MP days. More nepotism, I know, but he says she's good people.

Also, http://www.howdtheyvote.ca/ will show you a past MP's voting record, so you can see what they did on issues important to you.

I'm a big fan of the Green Party as well, Fiscaly responsible, yet Social progressive, thats good stuff, you take the money mangement of the PC party drop the bible thumping and pick up the pot smoking of the liberals. I hope they win a seat this election. And I'm a big fan of Jack Layton but I can't bring myself to vote for him if he is going to raise taxes. I think the biggest plus for the PC party is the economy, its the number one topic now, while back in the spring when Dion was getting ready to run it was the environment.
