Primer for football novices:

Spurs are the greatest football team in the history of human creation, but have had a bit of bad luck for the last, erm, fifteen years or so. In the last few weeks they've been on fire, taking down first Arsenal and now Chelsea. Awesome stuff.

Fifteen years? Try 20. OK, they did win the FA Cup in '91 and the League Cup in '99, but they haven't really been up to their standards since the mid '80-ies.

I remember the year Spurs were relegated. Ah, happy days. Not as good as the year Man United were relegated, but good clean fun, nonetheless. :)

I'm not quite sure, but I think that was before I got my Spurs kit, tying me forever to that club. Thus I can't claim I remember or care.
