I think we are supposed to hate Noa to be honest. We are not supposed to like anyone, really. But I must say I love how noa is portrayed as a guy who's perception of himself (I'm a good guy) is so different from who he actually is (an entitled prick). I don't believe for a second he actually loves Allison. He throw everything away in a midlife crisis and now needs to give it meaning.
I don't think it does. You're not exactly discussing the latest episode in this comment. So everyone who sees this should be fine :D
I KNOW! You'd think there'd be maybe the slightest self awareness in his own pov. But I always think his own pov makes him look the worst, while Helen or Alison usually make him look better. I loved it when he went on a rant about how bad it is for white, privileged males, and Helen simply laughed at him.:D
I agree about that. He loved the thrill of it. It being new, but as soon as she wanted to settle down, and it started to become "normal". ... yeah, not interested anymore :/ I don't think he wants the baby either.
I like that he lacks slef awareness, because it is such a wonderful portrayal of male entitlement ;)
I actually think he also felt a need to self destruct in the most explosive way possible. And in a way he surrendered and it all went to shit. I very much bet he doesn't actually have the baby nor Allison for that matter.
Well, thanks writers. I'm not watching the show to read fanfiction! (... I mean, I do. But it would be nice to actually see those scenes you mention, too... )
Not to mention that all of r/r's scenes have been wrapped in that terrible Zelena plotline. And as much as I adore Regina's willingness to give everyone the second chance she got, I'm a bit annoyed that all the discussion/emotional build up to it happened off-screen.
Tbh I was vaguely hoping last episode was going to give me some Milah/Hook callback stuff, because I loved The Crocodile back in S2, but it ended up just erasing most of it in order to stuff the episode with more CS (and Rumple, which is worse).
Like, this season has given me a handful of emotionally fullfilling Regina and Neal(!) bits, but the plot makes no sense, and the only things that have kept my attention are Merlin/Nimue, Lancelot/Guinevere, Merida/Belle and Mulan/Ruby (I hate this show I'm going down a hole again) all of which had one focus episode and are now meandering in the background somewhere.
UGH, I KNOW!!! When they allowed her to hold the little Outlaw Peanut, I was afraid she'd poof away tbh. I can't believe they want to give her some sort of parental rights :|
:( I'm still hoping the second half will be better. guess I'm hopeless.
SO TRUE! The only scene/ep I REALLY liked this season was the dancing during the ball. It's the only scene that was memorable, from an OQ stand point. and that is just sad.
I forgot about that one! Pretty much all the 'Only You' moments were faves (because half were R/R and half were Neal things). Yeah, that was the main moment of the season so far for them.
Saaaaame. Like dear god I love Regina for wanting to give her that second chance, but I hate the writers for making that narrative choice? If that makes sense? It's (somewhat) in character for Regina given the past two seasons, but it shouldn't have been on the table. Especially since Regina outlined how vile and terrible this whole plot has been? And reminded everyone that Zelena killed Marian to do it (Regina sticking up for Marian ugh my heart).
I'm hopeless with you. I'm in it for the long haul. As long as Regina keeps having emotionally resonant character development and they give me even crumbs of Mulan/Ruby I'm going to be stuck here until the end.
That's so shitty that Regina hasn't been around much this season. Especially since they didn't give her a whole lot last season, either. Lana and Robert are by far the strongest performers on the show, why they want to give them all the B storylines lately I'll never know. Like....what a waste. LOL.
And I hear they separated Rumbelle AGAIN...I can understand that she needs time before getting back with Rumple (and that's the sort of development I always wanted for them!! Like yay, he's not just magically forgiven in 2 seconds and they're actually gonna work on their issues!! :P), but you know none of that development in their relationship is going to be on screen because I suspect the reason she told Rumple that is more because of Emilie's pregnancy than anything, so...without seeing them actually work on things, it's just another pointless separation that'll end in a 5 minute reconciliation, as always. :P (WHY do I still get so heated about them??? I guess I still remember the good old days and what could've been. LOL.)
She's still in every episode, but it feels like nothing relevant is happening. At least Robert is a BIT more present, since it's a dark one storyline, but yeah... I don't get it either.
THEY DID! Happy BATB anniversary! ;P but yeah, I agree that it's probs because of her pregnancy. I can't believe Ginny is pregnant again, too. I don't doubt that everyone being pregnant (the lily actress, too) screwed up their original plans. not that I'm excusing this mess. Just wondering what could have been *sighs*
Smartphones are awesome. I love mine and couldn't live without it anymore, as sad as that might sound :D
Good luck for the hair cut!
I'm getting one (and a fresh color) next week on the 9th, right in time before the Convention :D
OUAT just sucks, and Hook as "Dark One" made me laugh because it was SO fucking stupid, so ridiculous and SUCH bad acting. I was literally rolling my eyes thinking "really?" in both scenes, the one in Gold's shop and the one on the ship. It was SO bad, I could barely look.
Same! I didn't make the change for the longest while. but it's pretty amazing.
THANKS! :D
oooh, nice. good luck to you, too ;D
*lol* Yeah, I agree. I can't believe he has been a dark one this whole time, but didn't act on it BECAUSE HE DIDNT KNOW but as soon as it's revealed "uh, aaah, I'm evil!!!" yes, very believable, well done, show.

Does this need some kind of spoiler cut?
