I woke up yesterday morning with a splitting headache, an itchy nose, sneezing and feeling generally like shit. So I went to the doctor to get some meds when the doc told me that I'm not sick that I have allergies. He gave me some Claritin and now I feel a million times better

I am right there with you on the shot-hating. I once kicked my pediatritian in the groin for trying to surprise me with immunizations.

(Somehow this is a very specific phobia, as I can give blood with no problems and I've gotten tattoos. Hmm.)

Tattoos I have no problems with. Giving blood I do because they can never find my damn veins even though you can see them clearly through my fucking skin.

It pisses me off that I can find tiny little veins in dogs and cats and these women can't find a vein in a 6'3 230lb man.

they never find a vain on me either, but my veins are tiny and like to roll and then collapse. This is why I love NICU nurses, they can find a vain on anyone.
