Well, it's goodbye to Hicksville, Japan, and on to bustling Crowdedapartmentcomplexsville! this struck me as really funny. :)
i came across your lj in the "latest posts" section of lj. very random, i know, but i'm working a graveyard at a radio station and i need to stay awake. ;) would you mind if i added you? i am very interested in hearing about someone living in japan (who is not native-born). plus, your lj is very interesting. :)
Why do I keep forgetting that not all studying abroad students are in Russia? >.>
Glad to hear things are going well for you Katie. I'm currently looking at applying to Nanzan University in Nagoya for next semester right now. Small world huh?
Wow, not only is Nanzan an excellent university, it's practically a literal sticks-throw from where I'm going to be working! Let me know when you're going to be studying here, and I'll throw out the welcome mat (we may be able to entertain friends as VIP at the American Pavilion)!
Ah ha! It's always a party, so long as Dayn's not mixing drinks when he's already half-drunk ~_^ Oh man...what Godiva White chocolate liquor that I haven't already tried? *Innocent smile and eyelash flutter*
Damn you and your insurmountable Japanese WP abilities! Not to mention the ever-cool Osaka-ben, which we are not allowed to learn for fear that we'll offend Tokyo visitors at the pavilion!
Vilhelm, never mind the ridiculously high cost of travel, I command thee to get thy hawt Bostonian self up and over to Japan! (Actually--as of last week--I do have a place you, the redheaded stepchild, and maybe even The Boi can crash for a week if you still want to visit.) Itsudemo koi yo!

Katie!!!
I miss you, too! LOL, being a Katie myself, I love the KKK(aties)! I can't wait until you come back to USC. Sorry to hear about all the trouble housing is giving you and Sandy over the two of you living in the quads. Housing is dumb... Room sign up was a major nightmare this year. I hope you continue to enjoy your stay in Japan (except for the little clothes), but not so much that you don't want to come home. :-)

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out if I have any place at all to come back to now, as I still can't seem to get a housing app over here. Apparently to USC, Japan is somewhere on the ancient world maps right next to "the end of the world" and "here there be dragons." But I think they may be aware of the dangers of associating with too many Markovichians at once! Hope Preston is still awesome, and if all goes well I'll see yas in a few months!
