It may be a wise choice to have published the document. I believe I have been here for a long time... but the possibility of those who have been here longer, and who may shed more light on this, exists.

I believe there was a Warden once, before my time. But I suppose there is no reason to assume the City came into being recently. It rather sounds as if the City ended up underwater at some point.

I rather suspect the giant spider was not around at the time.

It's an old document. It tells us more about the past of the City than the present, so I don't think there's any need to worry.

Prophecies are usually written in old documents and you wouldn't believe how screwed up they can make your life.
