I have 4 weeks to write my dissertation.

This is probably a long shot but I was wondering if anyone could suggest a substitute for the ground almonds in this recipe:

I didn't get the job but then I wasn't surprised. They didn't actually offer it to anyone - no-one with the right type and level of experience applied!
Dissertation still crawling at snail's pace. -

I didn't ask 2 key questions!

those would have given useful additional context.
o well. back to the transcription I go. -
laptop
A little piece of plastic has snapped off my laptop at the point where my wrist rests on the edge. This means that my right wrist in now covered in lots of quite deep lines.
hmmm.
and there's a crack developing in the same place under my left wrist.
Let's just hope that I can stop dust getting in thorough the crack as that might be bad. -
Dissertation and life
I really wish I knew what I was doing.
I really wish I knew why I feel so disinclined to do anything.
Have so many little things that need to be done that it's incredibly easy to not do dissertation stuff. But I'm also not doing those little things either.
I still have no social life to speak of. -
jobs
I think I'm basically going to give up the job hunt until september. Don't have time to do good applications whilst also getting on with dissertation work, so it's time to focus.
Just hope people give me a break from the "what are you doing NEXT?" questions, since "I don't know, I'm focusing on my MSc" doesn't ever seem to be an acceptable answer -

It's been a long time.
O my goodness, my account is actually still active after nearly 18 months of no posts!
Well then.
I'm meant to be reading for essays but not getting on too well. The loud party next door is not helping much.
