These are very pretty ^^ I'm saving 3, 25, 26 and 23 :) I am also sorely tempted to save 10, 12, and 14 which shows how gorgeous these all turned out since I tend to dislike (er, more akin to hate) the Seishouhen OAV, lol ^^;
Have you by any chance made any Tsuiokuhen icons? If not, is there a chance you may eventually? I can just imagine how stunning the Kenshin x Tomoe icons would turn out if you did <3
about the tsuiokuhen icons-- well, i don't know, really. i don't... much like tomoe. and so i don't much like kenshin/tomoe either. and so i don't like the tsuiokuhen either ^^;;; well, none of the OVAs are something you can say i actually LIKE, but if i had to pick one of them, i'd go with the seisouhen. ergo, this batch. i was THIS close to making a tomoe icon, though, because i have a really neat image of her smiling to enishi from the seisouhen... maybe i'll make it one of these days. can't promise anything, though ^^;;;
Beautiful icons! I've saved 11 and 17 for future use (will credit)--11 is my absolute favorite moment in the movie (except for the scene that's in the Director's Cut and not the other one--why they cut it I don't know, because it throws everything into a new--and less bitterly depressing--light). Seisohen is actually the first Kenshin I ever saw; I didn't know what it was at the time and didn't understand what was going on, but I thought it was beautiful. Now that I've read all of the manga I've decided it's probably out of character and not what Watsuki intended, but I still love it because, c'mon! There are two K/K kisses! I'll put up with a lot for that. I don't suppose you feel like doing K/K icons that are blue/purple-y? Because my journal is purple-y at the moment....;)
i don't REALLY like the seisouhen as a part of the series-- you're right when you said they're probably out of characters-- or more like all the characters went head down the drain ^^;;; but i think, taking it as a stand-alone story, forgetting all about watsuki and the series and what made these characters THEMSELVES, it is actually a pretty good storyline. in an angsty romeo-and-juliet-destined-for-tragedy-woe-is-me sort of way. lol ^^;;;
and technically speaking... there are three K/K kisses. *points to icons #11, 13 & 14* two make-out scenes, but three kisses ^-^ haha. i'm such a dork.
#16 is the closest i could come to a blue/purple icon in this batch >.< i don't know why they all decided to end up reddish/orange. probably because the whole freakin' OVA had a sunset background. gah. i can't promise you anything but i'll try to see if i can make some more K+K in other color schemes...

Yeah--I was shocked the first time I heard someone say 'I hate Seisohen!" but now I kind of understand why people feel that way. I still think it's beautiful, in a thoroughly depressing kind of way (you're right, there are three kisses--I realized this after posting. Now I want to go watch them

i never thought kenshin was a jerk, not really. i understand that it's kenshin and he has to go and help people and whatnot... that's just who he is. turning his back on a war to live peacefully would be like superman saying "sorry, i can't rescue you right now, i got a date with lois!" @_@x so yeah, i don't blame him. kenshin's ok in my book (he could've written to his son, though, once in a while. maybe then kenji-kun wouldn't have resented him so much ~_~ baka kenshin!). it's kaoru the one who bothers me-- she just about turned into tomoe and it freaks me out. gah. nothing like series!kaoru.
i wonder if the sunset thing was on purpose... sort of a "since the sun is setting over their lives..." thing #_# i don't know. i only knew all of these icons ended up being orange and it's so not funny >.< i prefer having a little more diversity
