Thursday I went to the DMV and finally got my car registered! I was nervous the whole time that they would say, "Oh, wait, sorry. You need form DVX-2790 signed in triplicate and you only have form DVX-2789 in duplicate." I just set up the Internet in my apartment all by myself. True, it only involved plugging in a few cords to the specifications of the color-coded picture instructions Verizon sent. But I've never been the one who set up the Internet. This is the first time I;ve ever done it by myself. So I'm proud.

I am not sure how much stock I place in political debates. We are an incredibly sound-bite-dependant culture, and I think the debate format reflects that. I don't think two minutes is or should be enough time to outline a person's (especially a potential leader's) thoughts and ideas on topics as huge as The Economy or The War. I got a dresser at Ikea. So, two months after moving to my apartment, my clothes are no longer in little stacks on my floor but are put away like a decent person's clothes.
