Embarassingly, when I was skimming the Hugo nominations this morning, I somehow missed the fact that my brilliant, charming, witty, and generally awesome wife is now about one twentieth of a Hugo nominee, and had to have it pointed out to me.

Carbon Offsets?
Dear LazyWebs,
I know that not all carbon offsets are created equal. But I haven't really been tracking them with any level of interest. Does anyone know of any good carbon offset firms doing work on sustainable long-term green community development, preferably, rather than yet more monoculture tree plantations for future logging?
