So... recently I started experimenting with textures and I would like some opinions on the results. All of them had been entered in icontests so to some extend I already had feedback on how they were received, but I'd like a bit more detail about how I could improve.

1. I honestly can't think of any way to improve this icon - it's great! Maybe one minor nitpick is that the cropping looks a little weird cutting her arms off, but it's not really something that jumps out

Thanks for your feedback, especially about the texture use. I tend to prefer simple things which makes it difficult to see when I could add what texture/brush/text wise. I hope I'll get a better feel for it with time.

Guess I need to become more creative with my colouring again. Hopefully my creativity didn't abandon me like my text creativity did. Even over a year later and I'm still stuck when I want to/have to add text.

Special thanks for clarifying what I could improve on the last icon! I wish I had taken a bit more time with it now, but it was done last minute which made me impatient - that definitely is a lesson learned. Never rush blending.
I was also more worried about both images having a similar colouring - I guess next time I'll know to not stop once I reached that point.

Thanks once again for giving me a lot of things I can consider when I want to add textures or something else :)
