I really enjoyed reading your commentary, you put so much thought into your icons (well, when they aren't last minute submissions XD). I think my favourite is the one you made for R5C6 sob how did you get elim'ed with such an awesome icon ;A; - I love the way you tie together your texture and your typography. But all your icons are really gorgeous.

And damn you change the pattern of of original image so seamlessly, I thought they were there in the original image in both your Momo icons XD;

I really enjoyed your little explanations of what you did and why. :D And the "what I learned" part, it's really interesting! I like that I now know how much effort you put into these icons -- a lot of people, myself included, wouldn't have realised how much you'd changed the base image. That's always been a bit of annoyance for me as an iconmaker (and something I noticed making banners). I mean I used to hate when someone would slap a texture on an icon and others would shower praise, and then if someone else took the time to completely change the colour of the clothes on a character and swap out the background, they might not get the recognition they deserve, y'know? I guess that's the problem unless you take the time to provide the base image as well (and who has that time?).

DO ETTT I NEED TO READ WHAT YOU WERE THINKING WITH THOSE AMAZING ICONS. I already read what Astro was thinking & now I need you. I want a fiendie commentary but that's impossible.

I loved everything you busted out during the RD05, I just the coloring you had going. It's intersting to see these icons & then see your more newer ones. I realize how much your style has changed. Granted it's been, what a year, but still it's just awesome to see how you've changed your composition style. YOU PUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO YOUR ICONS & THAT'S WHY I LIKE THEM. BTW I AM TOTES BUMMED THAT YOU DIDN'T SUBMIT TO THE ANIMANLIMS FINALE. SAME WITH MANGABATTLE. ;A; OMFG AM I BUMMED ABOUT THAT ONE.Lol tho on that RD06 note. I'm with you on that one, I signed up thinking I'd make something awesome & get my ass moving but I didn't. I failed so bad that round, I am ashamed of the icons I made esp. my final batch. It bums me out because inquisitory did a phenomenal job with the themes but my ass was so uninspired. /yay

Ahh I didn't see this post until now D: but it's so awesome that you took the time to write all this out, I love seeing these kinds of posts for s_b! I think you did an awesome job, they all look really cool and I like them even more now that I've read your rationale for each one :) Glad you're with us at battleothesexes and I hope to see you at s_b later this summer too! ♥
