I didn't really like today. I woke up with a headache, and have had a fairly bad headache for the entire day. It wasn't even my normal type of headache in my normal headache spot at the normal headache time of day. That was just horrible to get along with. I hope this isn't a new trend

Newsflash: we really need you. The reason I switched you to the tenor part is because I couldn't hear it at all today, or anytime, and she was sitting right next to me. You actually...project and I can finally hear the part. If you'd really rather play bass, that's fine, but we need the part, and you're the only one covering it...at least as far as I can hear. I have been trying to get a hold of other music that would give you a totally independant part, too. Like...separate from Eb contra, and maybe even adding in a contra bass...! I'd really like you to stay with us. We just have to get through this music (it isn't that great..) but after next week that's done and we can move on...

It don't mind so much about the part. They aren't so different, and a bass clarinet is sexy no matter what is being played! It just bothered me because I felt replaced, or something. It's just hasn't been a good day so it's been pretty easy to let that upset me. I don't plan on quiting. I just was in a pretty bad mood when I wrote this... Next week will be better!
