My books consists of People Magazine, The National Enquier, Dave Pratt- (Behind the Mic), my Bible collection, and some biography books on certain celebraties. ; )
Yeah, sometimes I like my reading to be short and quick, which is why I like Short stories but often even then I get too engrossed to finish the other things I need to do.
I truy do miss reading MAD Magazine form childhood sometimes.
Very impressive, actually...but you've neglected to mention your top five favorite flavors of Jolly Ranchers, in descending order. This is the kind of stuff that people want to know!
I don't hold onto books once I have read them, I give them away. So all the books on my shelf are still unread. They are:
On Beauty by Zadie Smith One Thousand Splendid Suns by Khalid Hosseni Control by Deborah Curtis How To Cheat At Cooking by Delia Smith Nigella Express by Nigella Lawson
The 2 cookbooks are used occasionally.
I'm reading This Charming Man by Marion Keyes at the moment, I love her books.
I used to do that as well, pass the books on so they maintain their own life of travel and influence as books ought to. Then I just found I needed the referneces for articles and such and became a touch less altuistic somehow.
Marion Keyes, I shall have to look into her work. Thanks.
A Conspiracy of Paper by David Liss The Eight by Katherine Neville House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski Wiley's Lament by Lono Sleep With the Fishes by Brian Wiprud Flint by Paul Eddy The Skull Mantra by Eliot Pattison God is a Bullet by Boston Teran Darkness Peering by Alice Blanchard Sins of the Brother by Mike Stewart etc etc.. Ok Im getting bored writng this out.. you get the idea.. I like mysteries.
