Okay, For the love of your own self respect, people Please give it a rest with all the twitter idiocy that seems to be inescapable these days.

I just axed two people off my friends list for moronic reposts of some idiotic comment limited to 140 characters, and thinking themselves brilliant for going to the trouble of putting such a vapid set of ( Read more... )

Live Journal will always be home to me, and no matter where I wander, I find may way back to LJ.

I got fed up with Facebook. I announced to my friends there that I was leaving, and if they wanted to see what I was up to, they'd have to get an account here. Funny thing is, most of them already had an account here but they're too busy Twittering on Facebook to notice the world around them.

Some got upset with me about the rant I spewed forth regarding Twit and Facebook, and unfriended me. Life is funny that way.

MTV used to get the blame for America's short attention span. Twitter has taken this a gigantic step backwards and created a generation of people who are unable to read more than 140 characters before their eyes glaze over.

I will admit that I have a Twitter account. It's actually the account of my SecondLife avatar, and is only used to advertise gigs in SecondLife. To be honest, I don't think anyone reads Twats anyway, so the whole thing is completely useless.

When I ranted about Twits, I actually found it very easy to mock them with my own made up Twats.

Twitter...so lame. I'm totally thinking about deleting my facebook and myspace. I'll actually keep the myspace account open so that this stupid christian band can't steal my username.

At last, I suspect there are scant few of us left in this world, it's like the scene in the 70's planet of the apes where you see the statue of liberty buried on the beach, you just know the world is never going to be the same.

Well, of course YOU Don't get those but I was talking about the public forum of Lj where the masses can run amok twittering at each other about nonsense, and as for the Canadian Government, wouldn't it be JUST lIKE the Canadian Government to incorpate something with restrictions and limitations when more accessable and efficient programs are readily available?

THe Canadain Government is the Devil! Beware your soul woman! Don't be fooled by their wily tricks!

OK, I'm kidding. I am a model citizen and always agree with every decision the Canadian Government makes because they make such INTERESTING decisions, all the time.

Again, your point is taken and as usual, it's a good one. Still there are two sides of the coin, and I am not about banning twitter, I jsut fail to see all the cause for it's ridiculous level of popularity given how limited it is.

It's like when VHS caught on, while BETA was the superior product but nobody wanted it.

I refuse to sign up for twitter. I don't get what the hell is so great about it. Not only that but it annoys me when I go to read my friends page on here to find it littered with tweets.
