Once again, my hair is gone. I have no tresses, only downy stubble and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

There's no turning back now.

School is eating me alive.

I sleep before two and get up by 8 these days. I still love the stillness of the dark and the crispness of the light and dark in the night time, but somehow, the dark rings more hollow and the faded yellow street lights seem more lonely in their sentry posts ( Read more... )

Dorm Crew has ended and PRISE has officially begun. It will be so strange in the morning, not waking at 7 00, not picking up the morning announcements, not sticking every writing utensil within reach in my ponytail...instead, I don't have to go to the lab until "late afternoon." For the past two weeks, I've woken at 6 45, went to work, ate meals whenever possible, slept, and basically lived for dorm crew. Now that I've given my all for this psychotic organization, I feel lost again, as always. For the past week or so, I've been working 10+ hours of Dorm Crew a day, coming home, showering, finding food, sitting around or walking to the river, going to bed, and then falling out of bed to head to work again.
