I can't seem to bring myself to ever get enough sleep these days. Being busy sucks, especially when there's no time to do the things you'd like most. On Friday I was up for a grand total of 23 hours which was relatively well spent but has probably knocked me out of wack for this coming week. Lazy Saturday, lazy Sunday... I love my job. Even though it means longer hours than school and still getting up at the same time -- today I got to blast Tortoise at dangerously fun/high decibals and intentionally splatter paint on my pants just for the hell of it. So I'm at work, killing time on my lunch break, waiting to take down a massive prop studio in the back so that we can fit some cars in there next week from a "confidential" client. Toronto has been wonderful to me. And it's only been 2 days since my return. Yes, the weather and climate sucks; yes, it's excessively noisy anywhere you go; yes, it's filled with a lot of very weird people -- but I'll be damned, it's my one true home and I'm glad to be back ( Read more... )
