this is the way things always go. it sucks that you cant make them both work out, but i think you will be making the right choice by going with the movie.
Yeah, the movie would have been the better choice, but I actually got them to work out. My boss was asking me to start based on meetings he was scheduling with the production manager. She kept canceling, so my start kept getting pushed back. I guess they're finally meeting this evening (or maybe tomorrow), so I'll start on Monday.
It's nice to have the Census to fall back on. During Unstoppable, there was a three-week time period where I wasn't needed, so I just sat around at home and didn't work. If that happens again (and it looks like it probably will), at least I'll have another job to do and won't have to eat into savings.
